Australian sports tech company Gerford AI has partnered with the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia to deliver performance data and analytics for the Australian Mogul Ski Team in competition.
The Olympic Winter Institute of Australia (OWIA) has engaged the services of Gerford AI since the 2020/21 season, to work with head coach Steve Desovich and his team, which includes medal hopes Jakara Anthony and Matt Graham.
Gerford AI has been a key support to the team in providing live and historical insights and data across the team and the field of competitors.
“The field is highly competitive in every event and the performance requirement is high, which means the difference between winning and just missing out on the final is a matter of points. Iggy and his team at Gerford AI provides us with a live window of data and insights during the event, which enables us the agility in strategy and performance. With this weekend now upon us, the team is ready to compete at their peak and Gerford AI understands what we need”, says Coach Desovich.
Gerford AI works with various emerging sports, to provide data, insights and AI technology and services. “Steve and the Australian team are a highly professional group and strive for success every week. Gerford AI is privileged to be working with OWIA and will be ready for this weekend”, says CEO Iggy Jovanovic.
Mogul Skiing commences on 3 February in Beijing 2022 and finish with Bobsleigh on 19 February.
